GLEN ELLYN, IL — Residents are invited to attend this year's September 11 Remembrance Ceremony at Fire Station 61 in Glen Ellyn. The sunset ceremony will pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and subsequent war, along with local military personnel, police officers and firefighters.
The event will take place at 7:07 p.m. at the corner of Fire Station 61 located at Main and Pennsylvania.
Part of Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed for the ceremony.
