LOMBARD, IL — Yorktown Center will be getting a new store this October that's actually an old favorite. Toys R Us recently announced plans to open a standalone store in the mall amid a push to open 120 new stores by the holiday season.
Toys R Us has 40 stores and popup stores inside Macy's locations after the toy retail chain filed for bankruptcy in 2017 and liquidated its stores the following year.
According to Chicago Tribune, the Yorktown Center Toys R Us should be open at the start of October.
