2 Companies Lease Space At Former Allstate Campus In Glenview
Medical supplier LSL Industries expects to employ more than 250 people at its new facility, while S&C Electric leased an entire building.

GLENVIEW, IL — Two companies have signed leases at The Logistics Campus on the former Allstate headquarters property, with one tenant expecting to employ more than 250 people at its new Glenview facility.
Dermody announced Tuesday that LSL Industries leased 81,225 square feet in Building 4, while S&C Electric Company leased all of Building 5, a 295,278-square-foot facility.
LSL, an Illinois-based manufacturer of disposable medical devices, surgical procedure kits and hospital supplies, expects the move to improve distribution efficiency and storage capacity while allowing it to consolidate operations, according to the announcement.

"We welcome LSL Industries and S&C Electric Company to The Logistics Campus," said Neal Driscoll, Dermody's Midwest region partner. "With state-of-the-art specifications designed for ease of occupancy and unmatched access to I-294 and O'Hare International Airport, The Logistics Campus is well positioned to support both companies' long-term operational and logistics needs."
The leases mark another step in the transformation of the former insurance headquarters into an industrial campus near Interstate 294 and Willow Road.
Allstate moved to the Sanders Road property in 1967. In October 2021, the company announced plans to sell the campus after 54 years, citing employees’ increasing preference for working from home. At the time, an Allstate spokesperson told Patch that 95 percent of its workforce was working remotely.
The following month, Allstate announced a $232 million agreement with Dermody, with the transaction expected to close in 2022.
Dermody confirmed it had acquired the 232-acre property in October 2022. Previously in unincorporated Northbrook, the campus became part of Glenview through an annexation agreement reached that year.
Dermody broke ground on the redevelopment in October 2022. The completed first phase consists of five buildings totaling more than 1.2 million square feet. The overall development is planned to include 10 buildings with more than 3.2 million square feet of logistics space.
Dermody said three remaining spaces are available for occupancy, ranging from approximately 66,000 to 160,000 square feet. The second phase includes 77 acres of land with development approvals in place, available for buildings tailored to tenants' needs or land sales.
Buildings 1 through 5 have earned LEED Silver certification, according to Dermody, recognizing the project's sustainable design.
Colliers represented Dermody in the transactions. CBRE represented LSL Industries, and Cushman & Wakefield represented S&C Electric.
