3 Dead In Single-Car Crash In Glenview: Police
Police found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames Sunday morning near the intersection of West Lake Avenue and Pfingsten Road.
GLENVIEW, IL — Three people are dead following a single-car crash Sunday morning near the intersection of West Lake Avenue and Pfingsten Road. Pfingsten Road was shut down in both directions between East Lake Avenue and Hospital Drive, as well as West Lake Avenue between Pfingsten Road, and the train tracks for the crash investigation. The roadways were closed for several hours.
Police said Monday they are working with the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. The identities of the deceased have not been released.
When police arrived at the scene of the crash, they found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames, with the occupants still inside. Upon arrival, responding units extinguished the fire and located the three victims inside. All the victims were deceased.

The crash is under investigation by the Glenview Police Department with assistance from the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force’s Major Crash Assistance Team.
