3 Sent To Hospital Following Car Crash In Glenview: Police
Police said the cause of the Saturday night crash is still being investigated and is seeking help from the public.
GLENVIEW, IL — An investigation into a Saturday car crash continues, and the Glenview Police Department is hoping for some assistance from the public. Three people involved in the crash were taken to Lutheran General Hospital with injuries.
According to police, the two-car crash happened at around 8:37 p.m. in the 4700 block of West Lake Avenue. A 2024 Audi Q3 was traveling westbound on West Lake Avenue from Milwaukee Avenue when it crossed over the center line into the eastbound lanes.
A 2019 Subaru Accent was traveling eastbound at the time on West Lake Avenue from Magnolia, and was struck by the Audi, ejecting the passenger of the Subaru. Both occupants of the Subaru and the driver of the Audi were taken to the hospital by the Glenview Fire Department. The driver of the Subaru was admitted with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger of the same car underwent surgery and is currently in stable condition. The driver of the Audi was admitted with minor injuries.

Police said the cause of the traffic accident is still under investigation with assistance from the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force Major Crash Assistance Team.
