47th Annual Downtown Summer Fest Fair Set To Return In Glenview

GLENVIEW, IL — Glenview's summer tradition is nearly here. Next month, the 4th annual Glenview Summer Fest returns to downtown Glenview.

The fun runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 24, according to the Glenview Chamber of Commerce. Like in years past, this year's edition will feature more than 100 vendors, booths, free games, health services, home enhancements, gift ideas, and a "whole range of delectable foods and beverages for every taste bud."

Glenview Summer Fest will be held on two village blocks of Lehigh, from Glenview Road to Washington. Organizers are expecting thousands of attendees.

In addition, there will be a special kids' area with balloon artists, carnival-style games, a magician, fire pole and much more.

"Local businesses might want to sell merchandise, offer free games or health education,
showcase new products or services, or celebrate your wonderful nonprofit services. We love
to see new faces, as well as old friends,” Glenview Chamber Executive Director Meghan
Kearney said. "Spaces will be allocated on a first-come basis, we definitely encourage early
registration for booths."

At 6 p.m., the street fair transforms into Summer Fest After Sunset Music Fest. The free event will feature local favorite headliner Panic At The Costco, with opening act, Jori Rose and the Thorns. PANIC AT THE

"Summer Fest After Sunset will have a host of surprising delights," Kearney said. "With amazing local food trucks, beer/wine including Coors Light (sponsor) and more will be available for purchase during the outdoor show."
