  1. Roof leaks and moisture
  2. Blow-offs, tenting, reduced wind uplift resistance, and billowing
  3. Poor installation and unsatisfactory workmanship
  4. Lack of maintenance
  5. Punctures and the addition of penetrations post-installation
  6. Improper repairs in general
  7. Blistering, ridging, splitting, and surface erosion and delamination
  8. Mold, water spotting
  9. Proper shingle overhangs at gutters, and eves.
  10. Measure for, and calculate for proper attic ventilation.
  11. Inspect attic intake vents for blockage.
  12. Interior attic inspection for moisture, or dry rot.
  13. Inspect attic insulation for proper R-Value.
  14. Inspect all storm collars at pipes for proper seal.
  15. Inspect all valleys for cracks, and determination.
  16. Inspect roof for missing shingle granules.
  17. Check gutters, and downspouts for blockage.
  18. Inspect fasten method used from original installation.
  19. Inspect flashings at all walls.
  20. Check for loose shingles.
