The 19th century was an age of religious fervor, and most aspiring politicians trumpeted their religious affiliations to make themselves more appealing to voters. In this session, historian Joyce Haworth explores the shifting religious beliefs that Lincoln held during his life and provides one more reason why our 16th president deserves such respect.
