ALL JAZZ! ALL DAY! The 38th Annual North Shore Jazz Festival

The North Shore Jazz Fest is only days away and the energy is building as we get ready to welcome Jazz Musicians from all over the Chicago area. Probably one of the greatest aspects of this event is the mix of top notch musicians of all ages performing in the same venue. From Jazz professionals like Jeff Hedberg & C11 to some of the area’s best high school and middle school Jazz bands. Audiences will have access to jazz music on four different stages throughout the entire day.

If you love music, this is a must attend event. Musicians both young and old will be able to watch some of the area’s best performance judges work with acts live and learn tips on performance, tone, improvisation and much more. Additionally, we will be joined by local Terra Sounds of Glenview who will be offering sit-in music workshops for students.

Be sure not to miss our two featured performers: Garrison/Paliga Jazz Octet (of the Gary Sinise Lt. Dan Band) will perform at noon and our headliner Jeff Hedberg & C11 will be playing at 6pm.

The Jazz Food Court will be open all day serving a wide variety of food and snacks including sandwiches, fresh baked goods and delicious Marcos Pizza from Glenview (we highly suggest the pepperoni magnifico ; )

The price of admission is only $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and kids 12 and under. Come and bring your favorite musician with you. Drop in for an hour or stay all day. You can pick up your souvenir North Shore Jazz t-shirt ($10 for performers and $12 for others while supplies last), get energized by great music and fun people. It promises to be a great way to heat up an otherwise cold January weekend.
