Glenview, Illinois – May 19, 2026 – The American Cancer Society (ACS) is proud to present the 46th Annual Windy City Golf Classic, taking place Monday, August 10, 2026, at North Shore Country Club in Glenview, Illinois. Co-presented by Wintrust Bank and FCL Builders, this signature event brings together business leaders and supporters for a day dedicated to camaraderie, connection, and the mission to end cancer.
This year, ACS is honored to announce two distinguished event honorees.
Mission Speaker: Marc “Silvy” Silverman
A longtime ESPN Chicago Radio host, Marc “Silvy” Silverman is known for his authenticity both on and off the air. After publicly sharing his 2020 diagnosis of Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, he inspired listeners with his openness about treatment and resilience. Now in remission, Silvy continues to share a message of perseverance, gratitude, and hope.
Leadership Honoree: Novaspect
ACS is also proud to recognize Novaspect as the 2026 Leadership Honoree. A committed supporter of the Windy City Golf Classic for several years, Novaspect has demonstrated exceptional leadership and generosity in advancing the fight against cancer through continued engagement and support.
The event will feature 18 holes of championship golf, on-course experiences, a silent auction, and a cocktail reception and buffet dinner featuring craft cocktails, chef-inspired food stations, raffle, and a mission program highlighting this year’s honorees.
Golf is sold out, but cocktail reception tickets are still available for guests who wish to join the evening program and festivities, and underwriting opportunities remain open for sponsors seeking additional visibility and impact.
Since its inception, the Windy City Golf Classic has raised more than $3 million in support of cancer research and patient services. To learn more, visit www.windygolf.org or contact Brianne Gidcumb at brianne.gidcumb@cancer.org.
