Upset Caller Threatened To Come To Glenview Business: Police

Glenview police also responded to reports of theft, peddling without a permit, retail theft, trespassing and driving-related arrests.

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department (unless otherwise noted) and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Employees of a business in the 2200 block of Patriot Boulevard reported June 3 that a person called the business, became upset because they had been removed from a business list and threatened to come there and “do something,” according to police.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle

Employees of a business in the 4300 block of Di Paolo Center reported finding a vehicle in the 900 block of Harlem Avenue at 2:45 a.m. June 5. Police said the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Chicago on May 7. The license plates on the vehicle did not belong to the car and had also been reported stolen. The registered owner and Chicago police were notified.

No Valid Driver’s License

Joaquin Mundaray-Gomez, 33, of the 8500 block of South Maryland Avenue, Chicago, was arrested June 5 in the 500 block of Waukegan Road and charged with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and expired registration following a dispute investigation. Mundaray-Gomez was street booked and given a June 23 court date in Skokie.

DUI

Speeding

Christopher Pronek, 19, of the 5700 block of North Moody Avenue, Chicago, was arrested June 7 in the 3700 block of West Lake Avenue and charged with speeding 26 to 34 mph over the limit following a traffic stop. Pronek was cited and released under Cook County non-discretionary pretrial release conditions and is scheduled to appear in court June 29 in Skokie.

Leaving The Scene

Jonathan Aleman Garces, 23, of the 10400 block of Dearlove Road, was taken into custody June 3 at the Des Plaines Police Department in connection with a hit-and-run crash investigation from Oct. 14, 2025, in the 2000 block of Glenview Road. He was held at the Glenview Police Department pending transport to a conditions hearing.
