District 65 leaders say they were unaware of earlier issues but emphasize expectations for professional conduct as Miller oversees finances during a major budget shortfall.
• Josiah Slavin re-signs with Wolves (prohockeynews.com) — Hockey fans in Glenview will see a familiar name sticking with the local AHL club, as Chicago Wolves captain Josiah Slavin has signed a new two-year deal. The 27-year-old forward, who helped lead last season's deep playoff run, says he and his family are excited to stay with the organization.
