GLENVIEW, IL — Shermer Road is closed north of East Lake Avenue Thursday morning because of a gas leak, according to the Village of Glenview.
Crews are on the scene working to make repairs.
Village Hall, including the Glenview Police Department lobby, is also closed to the public until the repairs are complete.
Anyone needing assistance from the village can call 847-724-1700. For emergencies, call 911.
It was not immediately clear how long the road and village facilities would remain closed.
