Glenview’s Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar soars to even greater heights in 2012 with the addition of live piano music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.
Recognized throughout Chicagoland for their incredible talent and engaging personalities, the pianists (which are part of the Dario Radio Network) will be belting out the greatest hits from Billy Joel, Elton John, James Taylor, Carol King, John Mayer, the Beatles, Van Morrison and more! Guests are welcome to sit back, relax and enjoy the show or sing along. Anything goes!
“I’m very excited to bring live music to The Glen Town Center,” said Steve Herzon, owner of Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar, which is celebrating its 8th anniversary this year. “We’ve thought about adding live music for a while now, but we wanted to make sure to get the right fit for our space and our demographics,” he adds. “Live piano is the perfect complement to the ambiance we’ve created at Flight. I’m confident that our customers will approve!”

The live piano bar starts Thursday, January 12th and continues every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Show time is 9 pm on Thursdays and 9:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. There is no cover charge and no drink minimum.
In addition to live music, Flight is also launching its new Lite Bite menu, offering the restaurant’s most popular items for $5 each. Available exclusively in the bar Monday through Saturday from 5 pm to 7 pm, and in the main dining room beginning at 10 pm, wine pairings will be featured with each Lite Bite item.

For those with a sweet tooth and who like to share, Flight will also be serving up “Sweet Endings” for two – a variety of scrumptious, home-made desserts expertly paired with fine dessert wines. “You wouldn’t expect wine with dessert, but it’s absolutely delicious,” says Herzon. “Vanilla ice cream tastes that much better with a glass of sweet Late Harvest.”
