Armed Robbery Reported At 7-Eleven In Glenview

An employee said a man displayed a weapon Friday and demanded money from the register at the Glenview Road location.

GLENVIEW, IL — An employee at a Glenview 7-Eleven told police they were confronted by an armed man Friday at 2441 Glenview Road. The incident took place at around 9:02 p.m. when the man entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money from the cash register. The employee was the only person working at the store at the time. No one was injured during the incident.

The man was described as having a medium complexion, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He wore a black-colored full face mask and left in a silver car, its make and model unknown.

The Glenview Police Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating the armed robbery. Updates will be provided when available.
