Arson, Obstructing Police, Hit and Run: Glenview Blotter
A Glenview teenager was charged with excessive speeding on Lake Avenue.

HIT AND RUN
Miguel Vazquez-Perez, 33, of the 10200 block of Dearlove Road, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to give aid or information and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident in the 2100 block of Glenview Road on at 9:40 a.m. on Sept. 12.
BATTERY
Steven Vernon, 35, Niles was charged with battery, obstructing a police officer and disorderly conduct in the 2900 block of West Lake Avenue at 6:59 p.m. on Sept. 13.

OBSTRUCTING A PEACE OFFICER
Rory Stewart, 19, Lake Forest was charged with obstructing a peace officer after providing false information to an officer about a traffic crash in the 2000 block of Potter Road at 10 a.m. on Sept. 6.
SPEEDING (OVER 26 MPH OVER LIMIT)
Luke M. Chirayil, 19, of the 1900 block of Ivy Way was charged with speeding in the 4200 block of West Lake Avenue at 2:02 p.m. on Sept. 10.

ARSON
An employee in the 3600 block of Glenview Road reported someone burned the rope in the climbing system. The reported loss is $1,000.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY
An employee in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road at 9:17 p.m. on Sept. 7 reported someone ran out of the store while stealing merchandise and pushed the employee to the ground. The reported loss is $1,700.00.
