Attempted Armed Robbery Reported on Glenview Road: Cops

More than $3,000 worth of jewelry stolen from home on West Lake Avenue.

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENTS

On October 20 at 9:51 a.m., a resident in the 4500 block of South Seminole Drive reported two men stopped at the property and asked to inspect the house for repairs. No inspection was allowed.

On October 20 at 4:44 p.m., a resident reported two men were trying to steal a bicycle in the 1100 block of Glenview Road. There is no loss.

THEFT

On October 20 at 2:29 p.m., a resident in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue reported jewelry was stolen. The reported loss is $3,110.

WARRANT ARREST

On October 24 at 1:24 p.m., Angela R. Johnson, 44, Harvard was charged with a Warrant from Indiana for a Probation Violation in the 1700 block of Glenview Road.

BATTERY

On October 25 at 11:21 a.m., Joanne Stroud, 60, 1420 Blackthorn Drive was charged with Battery and Criminal Damage to Property.

TRESPASS

On October 20 at 2:43 p.m., an employee in the 2400 block of Glenview Road reported a man was on the property who was unwanted.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On October 20 at 10:21 p.m., a person from Indiana reported someone was pounding on their car window in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue. There is no loss.

ARMED ROBBERY

On October 21 at 6:47 p.m., an employee in the 1800 block of Glenview Road reported a masked man displayed a handgun and attempted to steal money. There is no loss.
