Blocktoberfest Returns To Downtown Glenview
Popular 90s rock band Cracker will headline the festival on Sept. 24, according to organizers.
GLENVIEW, IL - Through the years, Blocktoberfest has become Glenview’s signature fall event, welcoming over 12,000 attendees annually to the downtown area. Featuring a vast number of beer and food offerings from local establishments, the Glenview Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event returns Sept. 24, with nationally-renowned rock band Cracker headlining.
Blocktoberfest is presented by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Downtown
Glenview, Ten Ninety Brewing Co. as a way to celebrate all that downtown Glenview has to
offer, according to a news release. Food and beverages, including craft and domestic beer, wine and hard seltzer, will be available for purchase.

- 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Family friendly fun zone
- 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. — Kids stage,
Performances from Twelve Tone Music School, School of Rock, Not For Profit, Twelve Tone House Band, Sincerely Sarlacc, Victor Brown Band, Rico Mcfarland and Cracker.
The 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. fest takes place along Glenview Road between Church Street and Pine Street, with a special VIP area in front of the Midtown Square Apartments offering premium views of the
bands plus several other deluxe amenities, according to the news release. VIP tickets run $100 per person.
