Blocktoberfest Returns To Downtown Glenview Oct. 2

The all-day live music lineup is set to take place along Glenview Road.

GLENVIEW, IL — After a one-year hiatus, downtown Glenview will be rockin' again with Blocktoberfest. The all-day live music festival will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, will take place along Glenview Road between Church Street and Pine Street. In addition to music, there will be food and family entertainment, according to a news release.

The music lineup includes Tributosaurus, a collection of some of Chicago’s finest studio musicians, performing all the greatest hits of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

There is no entrance fee. Food and beverages will be available for purchase (credit/debit only) from some of Glenview’s favorite restaurants. For more information and to purchase VIP packages visit https://glenviewblocktoberfest.com.

Blocktoberfest is presented by Glenview Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Downtown Glenview and Ten Ninety Brewing Co.

The full schedule of events includes:
  • 11 a.m.-3 p.m. — Family fun area on Church St. with games, crafts, face painting, balloon twisting and performances by City Kid Theatre and Northshore Elite Talent Company
  • 11 a.m.-noon — Performers from Twelve Tone Music School, School of Rock
  • 12 p.m. — Die Musikmeisters Band
  • 1:15 p.m. — Donna Herula Trio
  • 2:45 p.m. — Artificially Hip
  • 4:15 p.m. — Joanna Connor
  • 6:15 p.m. — Funktastic
  • 8:30 p.m. — Tributosaurus becomes Tom Petty
