Car Stolen From Driveway on Chester Drive: Cops
A home on Nora Avenue was broken into last week.

Retail Theft
On Nov. 29 at 11:32 a.m., Wladyslaw Ratynski, 70, Niles was charged with retail theft in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

On Dec. 2 at 5:59 p.m., Jeri Traub, 57, Wilmette was charged with retail theft in the 1900 block of Tower Drive.
On Nov. 29 at 6:49 p.m., an employee in the 2300 block of Capital Drive reported someone entered the store, took protein supplements from the shelf and walked out of the store without paying. $600 in merchandise was recovered outside the store.

On Dec. 6 at 7:20 p.m., Edgar Lara, 22, Wheeling was charged with retail theft at Von Maur, 1960 Tower Drive.
Theft of Vehicle
On Dec. 3 at 8:01 a.m., a resident in the 4000 block of Chester Drive reported someone stole a car from their driveway. The reported loss is over $5,000.
Residential Burglary
On Nov. 29 at 11:46 a.m., a resident in the 300 block of Nora Avenue reported someone entered their house without permission and stole personal property. The reported loss is $200.
Battery
On Nov. 30 at 10:47 a.m., an employee in the 3000 block of North Lake Terrace reported someone threw him to the ground.
Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance
On Dec. 5 at 11:23 a.m., Joshua Bloomquist, 32, of the 1700 block of Grove Street was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance in the 1700 block of Grove Street.
Disorderly Conduct
On Nov. 30 at 12:44 a.m., a resident in the 3100 block of Valcour Drive reported someone threw objects at their property. There is no loss.
Criminal Damage
On Nov. 30 at 7:39 a.m., a resident in the 3000 block of Mary Kay Lane reported someone broke a window of their residence. The reported loss is $800.
Speeding
On Nov. 29 at 11:50 a.m., Ronald Malik, 19, Skokie was charged with speeding (26-30 over limit) and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 1900 block of East Lake Avenue.
