Character Counts! Art And Video Contest Open For Kids In Glenview
This year's theme is superheroes, and winners will be recognized at a future Glenview Village Board meeting.
GLENVIEW, IL — Local students can get out their paintbrushes and video cameras for the annual Character Counts! contest as entries are now being accepted. According to the Village of Glenview, the art contest is open to students in Kindergarten through fourth grade, while the video contest is for fifth through eighth grade.
Winners will earn a cash prize and recognition at an upcoming Village Board meeting.
Officials said this year's theme is "superheroes," and entrants can create a Character Counts! superhero that displays one of the pillars of character, including trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. Learn more about the contest and submit student entries here!
