Chicago Teen Accused of Stealing Cars in Glenview
Recent reports from the Glenview Police Department include a fake ad for a home for rent on Harrison street.

Theft of Motor Vehicle
On Jan. 3 at 9:30 a.m., a 17 year-old boy from Chicago was charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle after an investigation of stolen cars last August in the 1200 block of Westview Road and the 1500 block of Kittyhawk Lane.

Attempted Theft
On Jan. 3 at 2:55 p.m., a Streamwood resident reported responding to a fraudulent advertisement for renting a house in the 1700 block of Harrison Street. There is no loss.

Battery
On Jan. 4 at 6 p.m., an employee in the 4300 block of Regency Drive reported being struck in the head by another person.
Theft
On Jan. 4 at 5:45 p.m., a resident in the 2500 block of Indigo Lane reported someone took cash and jewelry from their home. The reported loss is over $3,000.
Retail Theft
On Jan. 4 at 5:56 p.m., an employee in the 1300 block of Patriot Drive reported someone stole bottles of alcohol from the store shelf earlier in the day and left the store without paying for it. The reported loss is $310.
Disorderly Conduct
On Jan. 9 at 6:56 p.m., a patron in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported someone was yelling in the restaurant.

On Jan. 6 at 12:31 p.m., an employee in the 2100 block of Pfingsten reported someone tampered with equipment at their desk.
Retail Theft
On Jan. 10 at 2:33 p.m., Heather Peace, 27, Morton Grove was charged with retail theft in the 2200 block of Willow Road.
