Schwarz Admitted To Lassonde Founders Program For 2023-24
Matthew Schwarz, of Glenview, was admitted by the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute - a top-10 ranked division of the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah - to the fourth group of Lassonde Founders for the 2023-24 academic year. In total, 34 students, including some returning to the program for the second or third year, were admitted into the residential entrepreneur program for undergraduate students. They moved into Lassonde Studios in August for the 2023-24 academic year.

Boylen Part Of History-Making Freshman Class At University of Iowa
In late August, the University of Iowa welcomed another academically accomplished cohort of students to campus. Matthew Boylen, of Glenview, is among this talented group of freshmen. The University of Iowa continues to attract high-achieving students. This fall's incoming first-year class, totaling 5,064 students, has topped previous records with an average high school grade-point average (GPA) of 3.83. The average high school GPA for the classes of 2026 and 2025 were 3.82 and 3.81, respectively.

Brook Attending W.P. Carey School Of Business At ASU
Michael F. Brook, of Glenview, a 2023 honors graduate from Maine East High School, is attending the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, majoring in Computer Information Systems. He plays clarinet as a member of the Sun Devil Marching Band.
