MSOE Dean's List — Spring Semester 2024

Milwaukee School of Engineering congratulates the following students:

• Daniel Katrich, of Glenview, was named to the Spring Semester 2024 Dean's List with High Honors. Katrich is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Lucas Smalec, of Glenview, was named to the Spring Semester 2024 Dean's List. Smalec is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.
• Mikhail Filippov, of Glenview, was named to the Spring Semester 2024 Dean's List with High Honors. Filippov is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Casimiro Named to MSOE Honors List For Spring Semester 2024

Auden Casimiro, from Glenview, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering's Honors List for the 2024 Spring Semester. Casimiro is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.

Lehigh University Announces students Who Attained Dean's List

Students at Lehigh University attained Dean's List in Spring 2024. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses. Local Glenview students named to the list include:

Frick Named To Dean's List at UW-Whitewater

Eden Frick, from Glenview, has made the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean's List for the 2024 spring semester. These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

Slonekar Awarded NASA Fellowship At Georgia State University

Melodie Sloneker, a Glenbrook South and D30 graduate, was recently awarded the NASA FINESST fellowship at Georgia State University. Sloneker was selected for a NASA FINESST award for her proposed project, "Serendipitous Binaries with HST and JWST: Detecting and Modeling Stellar Multiplicity in the Galactic Halo Using Archival Data." This will provide a full graduate fellowship for the next three years. Slonekar graduated from UCLA with a BS in astrophysics and is a second year PhD grad student in astronomy at GSU. She was a member of GBS SELC.

Hofstra Student Participates in Undergraduate Research Day

Over 140 undergraduate students, including Egan Bello, a public relations major from Glenview, presented their research at Hofstra's annual Undergraduate Research Day, on May 10. The research projects were showcased in multiple formats including posters, art displays and performances and focused on varied academic disciplines, including humanities; communications; education; engineering; computer science; and the natural, health, and social sciences.
