Sebby Named National Award-winner At College Of The Holy Cross
Mary Catherine Sebby, of Glenview, majoring in Spanish, has earned a national award for contributions to College of the Holy Cross' Chapter of National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society Sigma Delta Pi. Omicron Epsilon has been named an "Honor Chapter" for its outstanding activities in 2019-20, an award that was bestowed to only 11 out of 627 chapters nationwide in 2019. This is the 4th time since 1997 that Holy Cross has received this distinction. Co-Chapter Advisers Bridget Franco, Daniel Frost and Rodrigo Fuentes were instrumental in earning this year's recognition that was granted to only 11 chapters nationwide.

Whalen Matriculates At Knox College
Jessica Whalen, of Glenview, joined the Knox College community by enrolling for the 2020 fall term. Whalen graduated from Glenbrook South High School. Founded in 1837, Knox College is a national liberal arts college in Galesburg, Illinois. Knox enrolls students from nearly every state and more than 50 countries and is one of the 40 Colleges That Change Lives. Knox's "Old Main" is a National Historic Landmark and the only building remaining from the 1858 Lincoln-Douglas debates.
