Steenbergen Named 2021 NEWMAC Fall Academic All-Conference Team

Thirty-two Emerson College student-athletes are named to the 2021 NEWMAC (New England Women's & Men's Conference) Fall Academic All-Conference teams in women's soccer, men's soccer, women's volleyball, and cross-country. To qualify, honorees must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or 4.35 on a 5.0 scale after the Spring 2021 semester, be a second-year student, and have been a member of the College's varsity team for the entire season.
Logan Steenbergen, of Glenview, is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the Class of 2023.

Frick Earns Spot on 2021-22 UW-Whitewater Women's Basketball Roster

Eden Frick, a native of Glenview, and graduate of Glenbrook South High School, will compete for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's basketball team during the 2021-22 season, which begins Tuesday. Frick, a freshman at UW-Whitewater, is majoring in general management. The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's basketball team starts the 2021-22 season with high hopes as it is set to supplement a strong core of veterans with a talented group of younger players. The Warhawks, who finished 8-3 and reached the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship game during a shortened 2020-21 season, are predicted to finish second in the WIAC by the league's coaches and athletic communications personnel and are ranked 18th in the D3hoops.com Preseason Top 25.
