University Of Tampa Honors Dean's List Students For Spring 2023 Semester

The University of Tampa has honored 2,007 students who were named to the dean's list for the Spring 2023 semester. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list. The following local students were named to the dean's list:

• Faye Polyakov, of Glenview, a Freshman majoring in Marketing BS

Jortberg Named To Dean's List at Georgia Tech For Spring 2023 Semester

Kate Jortberg, of Glenview, made the Dean's List for the Spring 2023 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Local Emerson College Students Earn Dean's List Honors Spring Semester

The following students are named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the Spring 2023 semester. The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Coleman Receives Degree From Georgia Tech

Abigail Coleman, of Glenview, has earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with High Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Coleman was among more than 5,300 undergraduate and graduate students to be presented Georgia Tech degrees during the Institute's 264th Commencement exercises May 5 - 6, 2023, at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Baffa Named To Spring 2023 Dean's List At John Carroll University

Danielle Baffa, of Glenview, has been named to the Dean's List at John Carroll University for the Spring 2023 semester. Students eligible for the Dean's List must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours within one semester and have a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Corey Pevitz, of Glenview, a member of the Class of 2024 at Monmouth College, has been named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2023 semester. To qualify for the academic honor, a student must have earned a grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the Spring 2023 semester while maintaining at least 3.0 course credits.

Grenolds Named To the University Of Hartford's President's Honors List

The University of Hartford is pleased to announce Kendall Grenolds, of Glenview, has been named to its President's Honors List for Spring 2023. The President's Honors List is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester. This is the GPA that must be sustained over a full undergraduate career to qualify for a degree summa cum laude.

Kirie Named To Ohio University's Spring 2023 Dean's List

Ohio University College of Business student Anastasia Kirie, of Glenview, has been named to OHIO's Spring 2023 Dean's List. The Dean's List recognizes undergraduate students who complete a particular semester with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.999 with a minimum of 12 credit hours attempted for letter grades that are used to calculate GPA.

Glenview Student Participates In Summer Research At Carthage

Hiroki Imura, of Glenview, has been selected to participate in the 2023 Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at Carthage College. Imura is conducting research into Propellant Refueling and On-orbit Transfer (PROTO), a NASA Flight Project with Professor Kevin Crosby. The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at Carthage offers students in all majors the opportunity to engage in collaborative full-time research with professors. Students work closely with faculty mentors on a new or developing line of research.

Emerson College awarded approximately 1,058 undergraduate degrees during the 143rd Commencement at Agganis Arena in Boston, MA on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Local students include:

Illinois Wesleyan Announces Spring 2023 Dean's List

Illinois Wesleyan University's Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2022-23 academic year consisted of 731 students from 30 states and 29 countries. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight As. The following local students made the list:
