Dupor Named To Baseball Team At UW-Whitewater

Sava Dupor, from Glenview, who is studying Information Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk baseball team for the 2024 season. The Warhawks are picked to finish third in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) this spring and are ranked 21st in the D3baseball.com Preseason National Poll.

Students Participate In University of Iowa's Dance Marathon 2024

More than 1,100 current University of Iowa students participated in the 30th annual student-led Dance Marathon, generating more than $1.4 million for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. Dance Marathon has generated more than $35.8 million in its history. The final tally raised by the students was $1,454,929, a total which pushed the amount of support generated by Dance Marathon over the course of its 30-year history to more than $35 million. Local Glenview students that participated include:

Local Students Make Dean's List At Eastern Illinois University

Madelyn D. Schiffman and Nicholas J. Spingola, both of Glenview, were named to the dean's list for the fall 2023 semester at Eastern Illinois University. Schiffman is in the business and technology program at the School of Business. Spingola is in the liberal arts and sciences program at the School of Communication and Journalism.
