Blanco Earns Degree from University of Maryland Global Campus

MeCala Cherelle Blanco, of Glenview, earned a(n) Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Maryland Global Campus in fall 2022. Blanco was one of more than 7,600 students worldwide who earned degrees from UMGC in the fall. Graduates came from all 50 states, five U.S. territories, and 18 countries.

Schreiber Named to College of the Holy Cross' Fall 2022 Dean's List

Christopher Schreiber, of Glenview, was named to the College of the Holy Cross Fall 2022 Dean's List. A member of the Class of 2025, Schreiber was named to the Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year. To qualify, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Pevitz Makes Dean's List At Monmouth College

Corey Pevitz, of Glenview, a 2023 social science education major at Monmouth College, has made the Dean's List for the Fall 2022 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students needed to take at least 3.0 academic credits while maintaining a grade-point average of at least 3.5.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Madelyn O'Mera, of Glenview, has been named to the President's List at James Madison University for the fall 2022 semester. Students who earn president's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above. O'Mera is majoring in Health Sciences - BS.
