SNHU Announces Winter 2022 President's List
It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the Winter 2022 President's List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in the fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits over two consecutive terms (EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6). Local students include:

Syed Graduates From Campbellsville University
Azeem Uddin Syed, of Glenview, graduated from Campbellsville University. Degrees are conferred to graduates upon completion of all requirements for graduation. Dr. Joseph Hopkins, the 12th president of Campbellsville University, presided over his first commencement, asking the 1,593 students who were receiving their degrees "Who's on your journey?" May 6 and 7 in Powell Athletic Center.

Alvina Poothurail Initiated Into Omicron Delta Kappa
Alvina Poothurail, a native of Glenview, was recently initiated into the Augustana College Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society. The Society welcomed 1,971 new initiates from 78 universities during April 2022. Students initiated into the Society must be sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate/professional students in the top 35 percent of their class, demonstrate leadership experience in at least one of the five pillars, and embrace the ODK ideals. Fewer than five percent of students on a campus are invited to join each year.

Doumitt Earns University Of Nebraska-Lincoln degree
Sean Joseph Doumitt, of Glenview, was among 3,523 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises May 13 and 14. Doumitt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Business.

Goldshteyn Wins Second Place In Supercomputer Challenge At MSOE
Milwaukee School of Engineering students were challenged by MSOE Regent and NVIDIA Senior VP of Software Engineering Dr. Dwight Diercks '90 to use Rosie, the university's very own supercomputer, to solve an interesting problem, answer a difficult question, go beyond their course work or improve an existing process using artificial intelligence. Individual students or student teams worked together to identify a problem to solve. The groups then presented their findings to a panel of judges which included Diercks, Nick Haemel '02, MSOE Regent and NVIDIA VP of medical imaging and system software, and Dr. Derek Riley, MSOE computer science program director. Five total finalist groups presented in front of the panel and an auditorium full of their peers and other members of the MSOE community. The top three presentations were awarded prize money and received an NVIDIA GPU. Winning teams included (Second Place): Lumbar Segmentation - Srivishnu Appalaraju, Joshua Goldshteyn, of Glenview, Garin Jankowski, Tomas Rokos and Tyler Tran
