College Credits: Glenview's Wall Graduates From Tufts University

Steenbergen Earns USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award

Logan Steenbergen, from Glenview, is a member of the Emerson College Women's Volleyball team and earned the 2021-22 Division III United States Marine Corps/American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award. The Women's team was also honored for the Team Academic Award Honor Roll, which recognizes the top 20% of team GPAs in each division. The USMC/AVCA award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale. Steenbergen is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the Class of 2023.

Emerson College Students Earn Dean's List Honors for Spring Semester

The following local students are named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the Spring 2022 semester. The requirement to make the dean's list is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

• Hannah Glaser, of Glenview, is majoring in Creative Writing BFA and is a member of the Class of 2023.
• Lilly Meehan-Egan, of Glenview, is majoring in Political Communication and is a member of the Class of 2023.

Local Students Named to Tufts University's Spring 2022 Dean's List

Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the Spring 2022 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University requires a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater. Among local students earning dean's list honors are:

UMGC Students Named to Dean's List

More than 9,300 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the Dean's List for the spring semester. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC. Local students include:

Bridget Wall graduates from Tufts University

Approximately 3,275 students across all schools graduated from Tufts University on May 22 during a university-wide commencement ceremony that featured the awarding of honorary degrees to a number of academic, business and civic leaders making a positive impact on the world. Local students include:

Giannini Named to the Champlain College Trustees' List for spring semester

Michael William Giannini, of Glenview, has been named to a Champlain College Trustees' List for the Spring 2022 semester. Students awarded honors based on their academic achievement. Giannini is currently enrolled in the Computer Science and Innovation major.

Illinois Wesleyan University honored more than 400 candidates for graduation during Commencement on May 1. Local students include:
