Cuba Trip Planned By Glenview Chamber
Group will be one of first Americans to legally travel to Cuba come May.

GLENVIEW, IL - The Glenview Chamber of Commerce is offering a rare opportunity for a group of Americans to experience a guided tour of Cuba.
The Chamber is planning the trip, which will cost $4,095 per person from May 4-11.
According to a Chamber news release, travelers will “delight in Cuba’s storied history from the Museum of the Revolution to Ernest Hemingway’s Farm.”
“They will have opportunities to interact with the locals, visiting the home and studio of a famous artist, a classic car enthusiast club as well as the San Jose Craft Market, where local artisans show off their handmade goods.
The trip includes one night at the Airport Miami Marriott, four nights at the Melia Havana Hotel and two nights at the all-inclusive Melia Varadero.
The $4,05 total includes roundtrip airfare from Miami, seven nights of first class hotel accommodations, 16 meals, baggage handling, Cuban travel visa, Cuban medical insurance, sightseeing and admission to all attractions on the itinerary.
An informational briefing will be held on Jan. 14 at 5:15 p.m. at Park Center, 2400 Chestnut.
“This is an excellent opportunity to see a presentation about the places you will be visiting and get answers to your travel questions,” said Chamber Executive Director, Betsy Baer. “A representative from Chamber Explorations, our travel provider, will provide a slide preview and detailed information on the tour for interested participants.”
