D-225 to Ask for Property Tax Levy

The amount will equal more than $100 million total.

Glenbrook High School District 225 will ask property owners for a 3 percent tax levy, equating to a total of more than $101.5 million in 2016.

The request will reflect both inflation and a rise in the estimated new property value growth, according to the Glenview Announcements. The 2015 levy, which will be payable on 2016 tax bills, also looks to capture an estimated 2.2 percent growth in the district’s equalized assessed value.
