Death Of Boy Found Near Train Tracks Under Investigation: Glenview PD

The 16-year-old Glenview resident was rushed to Lutheran General Hospital following the Monday evening incident.

GLENVIEW, IL — A 16-year-old Glenview boy, who was found injured near the Union Pacific railroad tracks Monday night, was later pronounced dead at Lutheran General Hospital. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

Police responded to the 1000 block of Milwaukee Avenue at around 6:04 p.m. for a report of an injured male. Fire personnel took the boy, to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:25 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner. The deceased has been identified as Zidan Raab.

On Wednesday, the CCMEO ruled the death a suicide.
