December is Retail Theft Month in Glenview

Police respond to four incidents of retail theft during the first two days of the month.

The holiday season is here, and here come the arrests for retail theft.

The Glenview police had their hands full during the first two days of December, arresting for individuals for the offense on those days alone. The following is from the Glenview Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

  • On Dec. 1 at 6:25 p.m., Miriam Santiago, 22, Chicago was charged with Retail Theft in the 2200 block of Willow Road.
  • On Dec. 1 at 6:25 p.m., Alyssa Ramirez, 22, Chicago was charged with Retail Theft in the 2200 block of Willow Road.
  • On Dec. 2 at 12:47 p.m., Eric Wheeler, 19, Morton Grove was charged with Retail Theft in the 2200 block of Willow Road.
  • On Dec. 2 at 5:14 p.m., Maribel Ruiz, 45, Melrose Park was charged with Retail Theft in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard.
