Dick's Sporting Goods to Leave The Glen
Sporting goods leader will open at former Garden Fresh Market location in Northbrook.
NORTHBROOK, IL - Dick’s Sporting Goods plans to open a store in the Village Square of Northbrook shopping center, dumping their spot in The Glen Town Center in the process.
The national sporting goods chain has applied for a business license to operate a 35,000-square-foot store at 275 Skokie Boulevard, according to the Northbrook Star. The space will be significantly smaller that their current spot in The Glen.
It will replace the Garden Fresh Market that closed at the location in February.

Dick’s has been in The Glen for 11 years, and is expected to negotiate an exit from its lease there.
