District 34 Parents Call For Full-Day Kindergarten
Petition urging administrators to allow option has garnered more than 300 signatures.

More than 300 people have signed a petition calling for Glenview School District 34 to adopt an option for full-day kindergarten.
As of Monday, October 12, 346 people have signed the Change.org petition aimed at Superintendent Michael Nicholson and the school board. The petitioners are urging those who support creating a full-day kindergarten option to attend the school board meeting planned for Monday, November 16, when the Kindergarten Study Committee will will present its preliminary findings regarding the possibility.
“The more faces seen and voices heard in favor of Full Day KG, the stronger our message will be to the district. Let’s rally together to make a difference for our kids!” - the updated petition reads.
