Driver, 82, Killed In 2-Car Crash In Glenview: Police

GLENVIEW, IL — An 82-year-old Glenview resident was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning at Greenwood Road and Glenview Road. According to police, Nancy Carstedt was taken to Lutheran General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The other driver in the crash was not injured and is cooperating with police. An investigation is ongoing and a cause of the crash has not yet been determined as of Tuesday afternoon.

Police and fire department officials responded to the 7:05 a.m. crash and found Carstedt both conscious and alert. At the hospital, her condition was upgraded to critical and she was pronounced dead at 1:36 p.m.
