Fireworks Set Off in Willow Park Fieldhouse: Cops

The following information is from the Glenview Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

STOLEN VEHICLE

On May 24 at 7:25 a.m., a resident of the 700 block of Windsor Road reported someone stole a car from the driveway. The vehicle was located later in Glenview with only the key missing.

On May 29 at 10:30 p.m., a resident in the 3500 block of Carol Lane reported a vehicle was stolen from the driveway. It was recovered in Des Plaines.

THEFT

On May 26 at 9:18 a.m., a patron in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported jewelry missing from a room. The reported loss is $400.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

On May 26 at 6:33 p.m., a resident in the 3600 block of Liberty Lane reported someone broke into the house and stole personal items. The reported loss is over $3,000.

On May 28 at 12:55 p.m., a resident in the 1800 block of Linneman Street reported someone entered the house without authorization and stole personal items. The reported loss is over $3,000.

RETAIL THEFT

On May 29 at 3:50 p.m., an employee in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported someone walked out of the store with merchandise without paying. The reported loss is $533.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On May 29 at 9:42 p.m., an employee of the Glenview Park District discovered someone set off fireworks inside the fieldhouse in the 2600 block of Greenwood Road. There is no reported loss.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

On May 30 at 8:50 p.m., a motorist in the 1200 block of Greenwood Road reported someone threw a brick through his windshield.
