'The Freeze' Full Results From Glenview
One of the largest amateur skating competitions of the north suburbs was held over the weekend at the Glenview Ice Center.

GLENVIEW, IL – The Glenview Ice Center welcomed over 430 starts, 22 synchronized skating teams and four Theatre on Ice Groups from the Chicago area to The Freeze Basic Skills Figure Skating Competition held on February 17 and 18. Participants ranged in age from 3 through adults.
The Freeze is one of the largest amateur skating competitions in the north suburbs. Competition categories included Programs, Compulsories, Artistic, Interpretive, Jumps and Spins and Synchronized Skating.

The Glenview Ice Center was represented by the Skate School of Glenview and the Glenview Blades synchronized skating teams. Glenview Blades Pre-Juvenile Synchronized won Gold and Synchronized Skills 1 and Blades Open Juvenile won Bronze.

There were 54 individual figure skaters representing the Skate School of Glenview who competed in various events. The full results from The Freeze competition are attached.
The Glenview Blades Teams and individual competitors will be competing in the 2017 Chicagoland Skate USA Championship on March 18-19.
