GBS Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness
Glenbrook South's female volleyball team will wear pink jersey's during their conference match against New Trier next Tuesday.

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, members of the Glenbrook South volleyball team will don pink jerseys on Tuesday, Oct. 9 for their conference match against New Trier.
Known as Dig Pink, the annual fundraiser will also honor breast cancer survivors attending the game by distributing pink carnations. The gym will also be decorated with pink balloons.
All survivors are encouraged to come out and support the event. The JV game is at 5p.m. and Varsity at 6 p.m.

“Our Town” to premiere at GBS
Glenbrook South has selected “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder as this year’s fall play. “Our Town” runs from October 24 to 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Watson Auditorium. Tickets are $7 and are available at the door.

“Our Town” is a character story about an average town in the early twentieth century as depicted through the towns people’s everyday lives. It won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1938.
