Glenbrook South to Increase Transportation Fees
The 3.7 increase is the first for District 225 since 2010.

Glenbrook South High School families who have students that ride the bus will see a 3.7 percent increase in transportation fees for the 2015-16 school year.
The Chicago Tribune’s Glenview Announcements reports the Glenbrook High School District 225 board of education approved the hike, the first one in five years, on Monday.
The new rates are $700 for registrations between April 6 and June 5 (increase of $25) and $830 for those registering after that date (increase of $30). A 50 percent discount for sibling riders and $25 discount for online registrations will remain in place.

The need for the rate hike comes partly by the need for three additional buses next year at Glenbrook South.
