Glenbrook South, Loyola Students Among Youth Women's Leadership Academy Grads

Two from Glenbrook South and one from Loyola were among the 23 graduates of Congressman Bob Dold's program.

Two Glenbrook South students and one from Loyola Academy were among the 23 graduates of the inaugural 10th District Young Women’s Leadership Academy, a program that began this year to help high school girls develop into leaders in society.

Genevieve Thompson and Inaara Ali of Glenbrook South and Anne Bredemann of Loyola were honored at the Cook County Memorial Library in Libertyville on Dec. 15 for their graduation. Students at New Trier, Lake Forest and Round Lake high schools were also part of the graduation.

According to a Dold spokesperson, the Academy exposes girls to “a variety of different activities and thought-provoking discussions.”
