Glenbrook South Titans Football Will Rely on Ground Game in 2015
Ryan Janczak rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season, and will need another big year to lead the Titans back to the playoffs.
Senior running back Ryan Janczak returns to lead the Glenbrook South Titans football team in 2015. Janczak rushed for 1,050 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2014, when the Titans finished 6-4 overall and 2-3 in the Central Suburban North conference.
“The Titans had six all-Central Suburban South selections in 2014, and all but Janczak have graduated,” according to a Glenview Announcements preview. “Janczak figures to be the focal point of Glenbrook South’s offense, which will be led by senior quarterback Daniel Jenkins.
“Glenbrook South’s defensive line figures to be a strength of the team, as seniors Lee and Shawqi Rayyan are both returning starters.”

The 2015 campaign kicks off on Friday, August 28 at home against Barrington.
The Titans will also get a chance to avenge last season’s 24-14 first round playoff loss when they host New Trier on Friday, October 16.
