The Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual fundraising walk and the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling blood cancer. Last year, the Walk raised more than $60 million nationally for research and patient services. Participants carry illuminated lanterns, each a beacon of hope for the millions affected by cancer: white for survivors, red for supporters and gold lanterns in memory of lost loved ones.
The Glenview Walk will take place on Sunday, October 25 at The Glen. Festival grounds open at 4:30pm with the walking kicking off at dusk. It is a 2-3 mile, non-competitive walk.
