Glenview Chamber Honors Top Business, Business Person Of 2025
The winners were recently celebrated at the annual board installation and awards ceremony.
GLENVIEW, IL — Noting it had a lot of "exceptional individuals" to choose from, the Glenview Chamber of Commerce recently named its annual "Business of the Year" and "Business Person of the Year." According to the Chamber, the awards honor "those who have continually served the community, although there are certainlycountless other businesses in Glenview that have stepped up and made a difference."
Wintrust Community Banks was named the business honoree for 2025, with the Chamber noting the company's support "goes far beyond financial contributions – their steady visibility, purpose and drive to support local businesses and residents alike is unparalleled." The staff at the bank was lauded for supporting local programs, events, non-profit initiatives "that strengthen Glenview as a whole."
In addition, according to the Chamber, Wintust has served in multiple capacities as Chamber board members, ambassadors, Leadership Glenview sponsors and moderators, Kiwanis Club, as well as Northfield Township Food Pantry and other notable organizations.

Kevin Christell, of Edward Jones — Christelll/Ryder, was awarded "Business Person of the Year." The Chamber said Christell, who has been a Glenview business owner for more than 41 years, is heavily involved in both community and civic activities including Glenview Chamber, Kiwanis Club, Glenview Park Foundation, Glenview Park District July 4th Committee and Northfield Township Food Pantry.
"He is a selfless volunteer who is always giving his time and talents and serving humbly. Kevin embodies the true spirit of this award," the Chamber said.

The winners were recognized at the Chamber's Business After Hours/Awards event on Jan. 14 at Valley Lo Club. The event was sponsored by Busey Bank.
