Glenview Chamber Names Business, Business Person of the Year

GLENVIEW, IL - The Glenview Chamber of Commerce named its 2015 Business Person of the Year and Business of the Year last week.

Paul A. Jones, Chairman of the Board, CEO, and President of Glenview State Bank, was named the Business Person of the Year and Red’s Body Shop was the Business of the Year.

“Most people in the community know Paul from the Chamber of Commerce,” Jim Jennings, president of Glenview Chevrolet and Volkswagen, said of Jones. “But he’s also very involved in donations and in the community...He’s a very sharp businessman, a good guy, very involved, very ethical.”

Red’s Body Shop has been a Glenview staple since 1959 when Red (Charles) and Helen Bammesberger started the business.

“With strong leadership, both of these businesses contribute enormously to not only our business climate but to our community,” Chamber President Jerry Doetsch said. “They represent the qualities that make Glenview vibrant.”
