Brittany Moore worked in a family-owned business and Chad Moore gained operational experience in a high-volume deli in Los Angeles. The company said the couple first became familiar with the Corner Bakery Cafe brand while living in California. After moving to the Chicago area, they decided to pursue ownership within a brand they already knew and trusted.
"Corner Bakery Cafe represents everything we believe in—great food, strong community presence, and a brand with real growth potential. After years in hospitality, we saw an opportunity to take a well-known concept and elevate it through hands-on ownership, stronger culture, and a deep commitment to serving our local community," the Moores said in a statement.
