Glenview July 4 Parking For Fireworks Show Delayed Due To Storms

GLENVIEW, IL — The opening of parking lots for Glenview’s Fourth of July celebration has been delayed due to the current storm, officials said Saturday.
Officials said they are in a holding pattern and will reevaluate as the weather changes. Residents and visitors are being asked to check the Glenview Park District’s social media channels and GPD Rainout Line for updates.
The Glenview Fourth of July Celebration is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Gallery Park, 2001 Patriot Blvd., with food trucks and live music.

Fireworks are scheduled for 9:20 p.m. at Gallery Park.
The village’s July 4 parade was scheduled to begin with a bike parade at 11:15 a.m., followed by the main parade at 11:30 a.m. The parade route started at Harlem and Glenview roads.
