Glenview Man Charged With Felony Sexual Abuse Of Children
The 57-year-old is accused of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and predatory criminal sexual assault of minors from two separate families.

GLENVIEW, IL — A 57-year-old Glenview man is accused of felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse and predatory criminal sexual abuse following an investigation initiated by a parent last month. Bruce Claver, 57, of the 3000 block of Knollwood Lane, Glenview, was arrested in connection with the charges at 9:21 a.m. Monday.
Bond was set at $250,000 on Tuesday. Claver's next court date is set for Jan. 18.
Glenview police said an investigation began Dec. 24, 2021, following an initial complaint from a parent that their two minor children were abused over a multi-year time frame. During the investigation, detectives learned of a separate complaint involving another minor child.

There is no familial relationship between Claver and the minor children, according to police.
Detectives conducted this investigation with the assistance from the Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County, the Department of Child and Family Services, and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
